manufacturer recommendations: Immunohistochemistry;Note from ZFIN: zm4 was made by Monte Westerfield against a synthetic peptide from a transcription factor expressed in the brain (dlx2?). zm4 does NOT work on paraformaldehyde fixed tissue, but works very reliably on alcohol-fixed tissue (we use Carnoy's Fix). Labeling does not seem to be myofibrillar.
