Antibody can be used to visualize axon initial segments and nodes of Ranvier on neurons in cell culture and sectioned material. Recognizes the major high molecular weight isoforms of ankyrin 3 on western blots (190kDa, 270kDa, 480kDa) although many lower molecular weight bands are seen also.
