Rabbit Anti-mouse Cyp7A1 antibody
(David Russell, University of Texas Southwestern Cat# RbαMC7a, RRID:AB_2888622)
polyclonal antibody
"A 15-amino acid peptide (QDLLKRYYRHDDSEIG) derived from residues 266–281 of the cDNA-deduced sequence of the murine Cyp7b1 protein (18), was synthesized by Biosynthesis Inc. (Lewisville, TX), as a multiple-antigen peptide. The multiple-antigen peptide was used to immunize four New Zealand White rabbits (male, 3 months old). For the initial injection, 250 mg of multiple-antigen peptide were emulsified with complete Freund’s adjuvant and administered intramuscularly. Over the next 3 months, four boosts were given using the same dose of multiple-antigen peptide but with incomplete Freund’s adjuvant. Antibody titers in serum samples were tested in immunoblotting experiments using as antigen extracts from 293 cells transfected with a murine Cyp7bl cDNA expression vector."

polyclonal antibody
"A chicken Nuf2 expression construct (amino acids 91-293) and a chicken Hec1 expression construct (amino acids 465-640) were created in vector pET28a (Novagen). The histidine-tagged recombinant protein was expressed in E. coli BL21 (DE3) cells. Purified recombinant proteins were used to immunize a rabbit. Serums were affinity purified against recombinant proteins on a CNBr-activated Sepharose 4B column. Immunoprecipitation was performed by a standard method."
